Lionheart Industrial Group CEO Honored At Dealmakers Conference In Philadelphia
David Bovenizer has been inducted into the Smart Business Dealmakers’ Hall of Fame. Presented at the conclusion of the Smart Business Dealmakers Conference at the prestigious Union League of Philadelphia, the honorarium recognizes David’s business success as Founder and CEO of Lionheart Industrial Group LLC, as well as his leadership in promoting effective networking among Smart Business Dealmakers.
David has grown Lionheart into a global diversified group of industrial manufacturing businesses specializing in combustion systems, pneumatic valves, and precision aerospace and defense components. Prior to founding Lionheart he has held leadership roles in a Connecticut-based private equity company, at Zomax Incorporated, a media, manufacturing, and supply chain management services company, as well as New York-based private holding company, Dyson-Kissner-Moran.
In that time he has completed more than 30 transactions totaling over $2.0 billion in value including leveraged acquisitions, cross-border M&A, public debt offerings, joint ventures, acquisitions and divestitures.
An impressive CV indeed, but it was his most recent set of deals that put him on the Hall of Fame radar for his Dealmaker colleagues. Crescent Aerospace is Lionheart’s Aerospace division, which has acquired 3 new companies to its platform in the span of 4 months in 2023, each specializing in complementary aspects of the competitive world of aerospace defense supply. To the legacy A-1 Machining Company acquisition of several years ago, Bovenizer added Advanced Metals Machining, specializing in high speed, close tolerance machining of Aero, Defense, and Satellite components; AMCO Precision Tools Inc., specializing in complex machined components for Aero/Defense applications; and Square One Coating Systems, focused on technical finishing for aerospace components.
